The question: to go new, or to go with value?

PCMag has an excellent article on getting good value on color laser printers by looking for those printers that are just past their top-of-the-line status. About a year old, that is, which means you’re still getting a good piece of equipment, but without the price hike that comes from getting the brand new models.

The article lists out several good buys, including laser printers from Konica, Brother, Xerox and Hewlett Packard. If you’re in the market, I highly recommend checking these models out - if nothing else, you'll get a good starting point for what you should be able to find in an affordable range.
