Paging (swap) File Support Request

I have the ATI Radeon RAMDisk software, running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, 64 Bit with 8 GB of decent speed RAM, configured as dual channel 4 x 2 GB sticks. And I want to dedicate 1 or 2 GB of the RAM to be my Paging (Swap) File. In other words, I want to put it into a RAMDisk using the Radeon (or equivalent freeware) software. But so far I have been unable to do it. Every time I try to create a RAMDisk, the software rejects it, and the few times I am successfull in creating the RAMDisk, Windows reports that there was a problem with my settings, and it couldn't create the requested Swap File, and creates a temporary one of 8 GB on my hard drive (hard drive space is not an issue, I could easily create an 80 GB Swap File without putting a dent into the available hard drive free space).

All Things Gmail

Hi,
I recently switched to gmail offline. I have two problems directly caused by that switch.

The first one is that I have lost my notebook window for scratching every thing I wanted to do at at a later time or date. I would like that window back. You can also jot down quick notes.

The second one is that I can't figure out how to add a new category (label). This is to Archive my e-mails.

Now, there is one last problem that I have had with both versions of gmail. Is there any way to manage your labels? Like add (already covered), edit, or delete. At the category level to add, edit, or remove e-mails at the category (label) level.

Thanks,

Windows Live Mail Contacts Categories Disappear

.
in Windows Live Mail -WLM -
I have several "Categories" - i.e. - lists/groups/whatever -
.
Clicking on "Contacts" in the WLM window,
I see the list of all of the categories and
when I right-click on any one of them & select "Edit" -
a "box" appears showing all of the correct eMail recipients in each "Category" -
As it should.
.
However - the space at bottom of the "box" is blank -
it SHOULD show all of the eMail addresses.
.
When I type I a "Category" name.in to the "cc" or "bcc" field -
when composing a new eMail -
the category name appears in large bold letters in that field -
as it SHOULD,
..
When I click on the + (plus) sign before the category,
instead of the addresses that should appear
there is nothing - a blank.
.
If I go ahead and try to send the eMail,
the intended recipients are NOT included -
as I see when I check the "sent items" folder.
.
HELP !!
I have reconstituted the Categories twice -
everything is OK for a day or two -
then the content box is blank again.

Internet Disconnecting & Freezing Computer Help!

Hi,
Over the past 2 days, my computer will randomly and automatically disconnect from the wireless internet. This has happened in the past but it was just a matter of reconnecting and off I went.
The issue I have now is that its happening more often (at least every hour while using it) and that the internet will automatically stop working and the yellow 'limited access to internet' triangle
appears over the wireless network bars on the task bar.
Usually I would click 'disconnect', wait a few seconds and then reconnect but recently, when I attempt to reconnect, the troubleshooting window pops up telling me it cannot connect to the internet
as there are no networks available. (which is weird because it is clearly showing up in the wireless network connection window as available).
SOOO ... I click troubleshoot and it begins its search to identify the problem, then half way through its search, the whole computer freezes and I have to force shut down by holding the power button.
Once rebooted, the computer runs fine and the internet works as per usual. But if I continue using the internet for a longer period of time, (>1 hour) it will do the same thing again.

My computer is a HP Folio 13 Ultrabook, running 64-bit OS and Windows 7 and, is almost exactly 12 months old.
There are roughly 3 laptops and 3 smart phones (or more) connected to the network at any given time and the others work fine and don't have this issue.
My service provider is Telstra - BigPond (don't think this is the problem as there are other devices connected to this network) They said that the service I pay for allows unlimited devices to connect to
the same router without an issue. Even so, I disconnected all other devices and even deleted the WiFi history on the devices and then waited to see what would happen... It disconnected and froze up AGAIN

Do you have any idea as to why this is happening? Im thinking a hardware problem (even though I haven't changed any settings recently) OR a virus?
Are there such viruses or known hardware problems that kick you off the net and freeze your computer?

Hope to hear from someone soon because I cant keep rebooting my computer every hour when trying to write !!!
Thanks, any help will be awesome
Cheers

Real Player Not Working

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could please help me. One of the guys I work with is having problem with his laptop which is run on Vista. He keeps asking me for help but I don’t know how to fix it.
It all started when his C drive was full. He bought a portable hard drive and transferred most of his music, videos and photos over to the hard drive. He then told me that he accidently deleted his “My Music” folder. When I looked the folder was still there but when I tried to click on “My Music” a message came up saying it was no longer working. At the same time he was getting another reoccurring error message saying “Windows Explorer has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem and try to restart the programme…” - Now this message does not appear as much as before but it does still pop up every now and then.
He then looked online and found a solution to the “My Music” problem and he got that to work again but he can’t get real player to work now. He can only get real player to work when he plays an old video that was on his computer before he got the hard drive but any new videos won’t work.
He has been trying to update real player but when he gets to the final step and has to press accept it won’t let his press it.
Hope this makes sense. I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer.
