Win Pix & Fax Viewer

Is it possible to use Windows Picture & Fax Viewer in Vista? When I had XP, I used the program to add text to documents for filling in blanks. I printed the document from the web page, scanned it back as a Tiff, then opened with Win Pic & Fax Viewer and used the Text box to fill in the blanks. I wonder if I can download it from Microsoft and use it in Vista.
Thanks,

Pc Software Most Like Imovie

My husband created on his MAC using IMovie a great video using still photos and video clips for a presentation. I need to do something similar on my PC. I'm not giving into the notion that you can't make something good and easy on a PC! I've tested out ProShow Gold, but it has limitations editing video. I've testing Nero 9, but it seems rather cumbersome compared to IMovie. Any other suggestions?

I have a Canon Vixia HF S100 camcorder coming in a week or so and have no idea how I am going to download my videos to my Dell PC or edit them after they are in there. Anybody have experience or ideas on what the best video processing/editing programs are?
As soon as I find one or two recommended programs, I can then figure out what upgrades my computer might need.
Thanks, Don
