I followed your instructions regarding disabling ActiveX except for trusted sites, but now am unable to view any video content on AOL, even though it is listed as a trusted site. First it was " you must have ActiveX activated to use AOL Video player, then you need Macromedia Flash 9 (which I did have but removed then re-installed just in case), now I'm back to "....must have ActiveX....". Any suggestions??? Please leave out the AOL cracks...doesn't resolve the issue....Thanks....

Sorry but I won't consider Internet Explorer a threat. Everybody has their own choice of browsers, including IE.

I'm having a hard time understanding why most PC World columnists continue to recommend Zone Alarm & AVG Anti-Virus when there are significantly better prgs 'freely' available:Comodo Firewall Pro totally blows away all other firewalls except for the difficult to operate Jetico Personal Firewall (I used ZA for yrs until it became obvious that it wasn't really up to the task. You can set up Comodo to be as unobtrusive or as hard-core as you want, & using the Application Monitor should be an easy adjustment for most ZA users - it's like ZA on steroids - very cool);Avira AntiVir blows away all other freebee AVs considering AntiVir PE Premium's rating @ AV-Comparatives (www.av-comparatives.org/seiten/ergebnisse200702.php) & that the free version is identical to the AV part of the pay version except that updates take longer to download & there is no dedicated eMail server/scanner (files are still scanned before they're opened anyway). What's up

Not enough space here to list the 3 year history of chronic problems I encountered associated with IE. After 2 years of a 95% problem-free experience with Mozilla Firefox, the only space needed is to say IT WORKS!

IE7 isn't that bad. Maybe by the time we get to IE9 it will be like Firefox 1....and Safari should be catching up to IE5 pretty soon.

Hey Nekotronic!!

If you don't like the UI , why not change it. You have many possibilities.

This is mine Firefox Themes : RedShift V2 .
h3. RedShift V2 RC1
