Has anyone come across what I think is a major flaw with Turbo Tax. When you get to that portion where it asks if you paid additional state income tax with your state tax return you enter the amount and you get can't get out of that subroutine. I eventually called Turbo Tax and they got me out of the loop. What they didn't know and I just discovered, is that each time I tried to get out of that loop, the amount I has paid with my state income tax, kept adding in a counter. The Schedule A is all flawed, my state tax return is all flawed and I don't know what else. My deduction for state income tax is off by at least $ 5,000 +. Ech time I clicked, up went the deduction. To the user who "trusts" Turbo Tax, they will file a bogus return. To this date, the original flaw is not fixed. Everyone claimng this deduction will have an incorrect tax return.
