Just curious to know, I mainly use yahoo messenger and ICQ. I recently downloaded AIM for about 4 years ago, and just wondering did they get rid of chat room?

[quote name='kellie']you can pull people from your buddy list into a chat room to have a chat with multiple people.Yeah, it's not as inviting as Yahoo!'s set of rooms. Though, I kind of enjoy having only friends in a chat, rather than a thousand porn bots in a chat.I'm sticking with Gaim, AIM was loaded with a browser and other crap (I thought I was downloading an instant messenger?) that I didn't want. Dumb.

TRILLIAN for me :DI use all 3 services so its nice to not have to be able to download each program separately.LOL- wow, AIM chatrooms, they were, uhm...... whats the word? PATHETIC!!! All I remember was links of "see my sex pic" posted at least a thousand times before I finally decided to disconnect. I finally got smart and went to Yahoo. At least you could have a normal conversation with people across the globe without being spammed so much ....

Yea, that and those lame skiddy booters for yahoo's chat rooms. I think when that new skiddy tool that took down the actual room came out that was it for yahoo, and they moved to client based rooms. It was always funny when you had some kid trying to use a booter on you, and you had the bigger tube (faster connection). They'd be like wtf, what's happening? Skids running around with skiddy progs and no idea of how they worked.
