We'll, your system looks fine, my only concern is the video card as it may not be up to date on everything. I also checked the system requirements for B&W 2 "Black and White, if thats it" and everything seems to be ok. Also, how many other programs do you have running in the background when you are playing games?Does your PC run sluggish only when you are playing games or is this a continuous thing?

I wonder if there may be memory issues as I think that video card is using system memory rather than having its own dedicated memory that may be causing some slowness. Also it may be worth looking at what kinds of speeds do you have on your bus in the system as that could also be an issue. You could have the fastest CPU in the world but if the graphics card and bus speeds are slow then the gaming may well be less than stellar.Regards,JB

well its also sluggish when i play videos or listen to music, and yes my video card has only 128mb of dedicated memory and the rest is taken up from the system. is that why its sluggish?

do you keep track of potential spyware or programs running that you may be unaware of? I would imagine it would take a lot to slow down your computer but may be a possibility.

{size:18px}:D Hi Hewoo : Being fairly active in the antispyware "community", very few are adequately protected against ALL forms of Spyware. Let me know the SPECIFIC NAME(S) of your security programs and I will offer suggestions, if applicable !?

{size:18px}:D Hi : Your security could use some improvement . Spybot's quality has fallen in recent months and for quite some time has NOT been in the top "tier" of programs recommended by antiSPYWARE Expert Eric Howes @ www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm#trustworthy . Spybot MAY be "conflicting" with your "Plus" ver of Ad-Aware !? To be "safe", I recommend you "replace" it with 1 or 2 other programs recommended by Eric, namely AVG Antispyware from www.ewido.net ( IF you install this program, you will need to either "inactivate" its "Resident Shield" or Ad-Aware's, so they will NOT "conflict" with each other ) and/or the FREE ver of "SUPERantispyware" from www.superantispyware.com . These 2 are Good & FREE . At present, Ad-Aware is my #3 antispyware program; found out recently that the former Administrator of the Lavasoft Ad-Aware Support Forums no longer recommends Ad-Aware. And having the Good & FREE "Spywareblaster" from www.javacoolsoftware.com would be helpful . There is a "Tutorial" at www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial49.html . And for possible "rootkit" detection, I recommend you use start with "RootkitRevealer", best downloaded from www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/Security/RootkitRevealer.mspx . This Good & FREE program was bought by Microsoft when they purchased the Sysinternals Company last yr, the Makers of many Good & FREE Analysis "Tools" . To get the most accurate scan results, should Delete ALL Temporary Internet Files PRIOR to "running" AND do NOTHING on the computer while the scan is "running" . If following these Recommendations does not "resolve" the "problem",will make a future recommendation .
