I wrote to "On Your Side" on November 27, 2010. I received an automated reply (attached). Since then I have written to several staff members at PC World. No one has answered me.
A few years ago a former PC World staff member, Steve Bass, made an inquiry on my behalf. Two days later I received a phone call from the engineering department of the company in question. They wanted to know what they could do to help me.

Where did you buy this computer? The reason I ask is that every now and then, we run across users upset because of a purchase at PCWorld UK- http://www.pcworld.c...gbuk/index.html

HP support sometimes does suck, but stick with it and you can get some help, try the chat support also.
Even the experts started out as beginners

I bought the computer at Microcenter in Michigan (USA). I am starting to believe that my email messages may not have been received by PC World. A number of ISPs have blocked my email as spam. My Gmail address may have been hacked. If there are any new developments I will report back.

Welcome to the community, Don. Hopefully we can help you out. You seem to have a little difficulty submitting a reply. Instead of clicking the gray "Reply" button next to each post, click the red "Add Reply" found at the very bottom of the thread. It won't have the BBcode.
