I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. Back in October 2006, AOL offered a Free AIM phoneline which worked very nicely. They gave me a local telephone # which I could give out to friends as a new phone #. When someone called the number, it rang in my computer and if I chose to answer, I just clicked to receive the call. If not, it went to Voice Mail and it was recorded as an audio file and placed in my AOL IN-box.The requirement was that it had to be used at least once a month. Needless to say, it was used daily so I was very surpirsed when without any explanation, they cancelled it in December.I subscribed again in January, got a new number, gave it out to all my friends again, and it doesn't work. When you call the number, it gives out a busy signal. There is no one to help - because it's FREE - all requests for help via their website remain unanswered. You can check it out here: http://www.aimphoneline.com/Anybody have any ideas?
