Paradigm shifts have a way of punishing products that are not part of the shift.

Hence all Macs, including MacBook Air are going to go away and so does PCs in all forms.

Extending the thought process, server farms will go to ARMs and maybe power optimized Intels. Microsoft's request to Intel for 16-core Atom is such a step.

The current paradigm shift is going to be a messy, very messy one.

There was Bollywood movie "Krish". In that the hero's father could see the future and the villain, instead of aligning with the future he tries to manipulate it for his very selfish needs.

Microsoft and Intel want to manipulate the future in a very selfish way. But what they do not know is that paradigm shifts are a collective will of the wants of the whole world. Microsoft and Intel will fall flat on their face and may become wiser for that(?).

I am not an astrologer, I am a pattern recognizer. I observe last paradigm shift and try to map that to the current one so that there can be good outcomes like people not losing their jobs, faster arrival of paradigm shift etc.

Personally my situation is like hero's father; captive, abused and having no money.

From today, I will not cover Microsoft and Intel, I have been abused enough.
