HELP! I am receiving email attachments on my new computer that when right-clicked to determine the properties are listed as .eml files. The computer won't open them, listing them as Unknown File Types. My old computer opened them just fine (listed them as Internet E-Mail Messages). How can I overcome this problem?

http://support.micro.../?kbid=312355Or, you can click on 'My Computer'.....then 'Tools'......then "Folder Options".......click on 'File Types'.....click "New"........then click "Advanced" ....in the blank space next to File Extension, type in EML .....Next to the 'Associated File Type' ---- click on the drop down arrow and find Outlook Express Mail Message......choose this and click OK. Now Outlook Express will open .eml files. :wink: This is written assuming an XP system.
