as much as I like to make fun of microsoft, and do I ever enjoy that. They really do know how to make a good product. They just dont always apply it correctly. The kinect is a prime example.


The one or two second processing delay in a game would not be very fun, however, in other applications it wouldnt matter. And in a couple more years that delay would probably not even be noticeable. I understand why there is a delay I mean it is processing some major data, but again its all about the application.

Like .net I remember reading an article about it from someone where is said .net was a flop or entered the market too soon. And I then remembered reading another article that stated Microsoft kind of put all their eggs in one basket betting on .net.

.Net is so popular now you can find it on a lot of linux boxes, and you can even find an app to let you run it on android phones.
