This sounded like a good idea. Now I have all my pictures in the Recycle Bin and not interested in Restoring one at a time. The pictures that were in files/folders are now called Thumbs.db. When I try to view them, it says Invalid Image in Picasa or No Preview available. How can I get my pictures back? There maybe another set of these pictures on my computer but I can't locate them.

According to the Net, this is not a new problem but the fixes I tried didn't work.

Thanks for your help.

The thumbs.db file is not a picture file you can open. A folder with pictures in it has a hidden system file called thumbs.db which stores thumbnails or small versions of the picture so you can quickly glance at them while in Windows Explorer. If you want the pictures back, you need to restore the actual picture files themselves. Fortunately, they're still in your Recycle Bin, so just restore them. You should ignore the thumbs.db files.
