1000!!! Cosmo, are you making this forum your full time job? Haha, no offence meant. By the way, I would like to know, how many people in the 7 posters are working in the IT industry?

I'm suited for it and considering going to school as well for network security and such. Yet, no I'm not currently.

Intermittently I still do special projects for some clients, at least often enough to pay the mortgage. Usually on long weekends in twelve hour shifts. A couple more years and I can retire. Then I can help those in need for free.

[quote name='yeokm1']> > By the way, I would like to know, how many people in the 7 posters are working in the IT industry?I'm with tech support. I think that counts, only because I have a BS in Computer Science.

None, I get a script to follow. But if I know how to fix the problem off the top of my head, I toss the script.

Well, can anybody believe? I am only 16. I have no practical qualifications of any kind. I just have O levels to my name. I do not know what is O levels equivalent to in the American system. I just like computers thats why. I considering to pursue a BSc of Computer Science in 4 years time.

Seriously, you had me fooled into thinking you were older by the way you wrote. That's cool. [quote:24e1d28075]I just like computers thats why. Ok ,techie4fun , if I did not state my age, how old do you think I was? Anyway, I would really want to obtain that BS. But Singapore 's education system stresses a lot on academic results. Therefore, I am now a first year student in a junoir college. After getting my A-levels next year. I have to serve 2 years of National Service before I can enter the local universities. I am really afraid I cant get a place in that course. To Cosmo, what did you study in BS Computer Science?

Mostly programming languages such as C/C, Java, Python, PHP, some Ruby and Cobalt. We also had to create our own operating system in our last year. That was a nightmare. :DWe also did some cool stuff like program robots, and create some simple games.
