Great article, but poor decision making and stupid anytime in life seems to follow the rest of the inmate\individuals life. The article simply spells out a couple of things. One: be smart about what you put in the electronic device. While entertaining to your cohorts, maybe not so funny to the people looking at your application. Two, there is a price for irresponsibility ie. OMVI, DHS, Law Enforcement, incarceration. Last, there's a lot involved in fixing you mess, don't make it in the first place. Contrary to popular belief, you are responsible for your actions and there is a price.

Facebook doesn't delete your account two weeks after deactivating it. I deactivated mine, then a year later tried to sign back in and everything popped right back up the way it was. My "friends" said I just disappeared off their friends list, and then a year later just reappeared.

@natro82

There Are 2 Options:

A - Deactivate Your Account - It Is Easy To Find, It Is Immediate And Only Puts Your Account To Sleep, And Probably That Was The Option You Have Chosen Before.

B - Delete Your Account - This Option Is Hidden Behind A Lot Of Help Screens, And It Takes A Couple Of Weeks To Be Finalized.

If You Can Find The Time, Dig A Little Deeper The Next Time.

Our online presence touches just about every aspect of our lives. Those looking for employment; even those who are employed are subject to a search. Those people who are dating and those planning a political future will have their entire online presence examined. It’s only a matter of time. If left unattended, the information can become a permanent link to and haunt individuals and organizations indefinitely.

EraseMeOut.com is an online, guided tool to remove information from the Internet. It is user-friendly and an automated system. For $20, anyone can begin to erase unwanted information about themselves.
