Hii guys ,
I wanted to know if Revo Uninstaller 1.91 (free version) supports the 64-bit version of Win7 ?
Has anyone installed it on a 64-bit OS??
I would have tried this out on my own, but don't want to mess up my new lappy which still has'nt got a recovery CD! I want to use Revo to get rid of all the trial version softwares that came with my pre-installed 64-bit Win7 Home premium & then make a recovery disc.

Hey Cyber, The first thing I would do would be to make up those recvery disks. That having been said, I went over to their site and they have full native support of 64 bit.

The free version will work in Win7 x64. However, it will not be able to unininstall 64-bit programs.

Hey, I have Windows Vista 64-bit and I have had Revo for ages...it works wonders, and it uninstalls perfectly. However, as Lincoln mentioned, it doesn't work for 64-bit programs, but there aren't many of those...for example one program that it won't uninstall is iTunes 64-bit, but for that I just use the CCleaner uninstaller.

Thats a good point mentioning that Revo does'nt uninstall 64-bit programs. Did'nt lnow about that! Anyways is there any uninstaller that uninstalls 32 as well as 64 bit programs (a free one of course!)??
I'm running 64-bit OS for the first time, Win7. How do i know if the installed program is a 32-bit or a 64-bit version?

Hi :

When it comes to getting rid of all the "trial"
software that comes with a new computer, I
recommend looking into the FREE program that is
available at http://www.pcdecrapifier.com .

In their "FAQ", they say :
"Will the PC Decrapifier work with Windows 7?

Yes. It works with all versions of Windows 7, Windows XP and Vista" .

You would need to "contact" them
IF that includes 64 bit computers !?

No free ones that I know of. Revo Pro will do 64 programs. So can Total Uninstaller, which I find to be a better program all around--especially with uninstalls that require a reboot.

Yes it does work with windows 7 64 bit and it gets rid of everything including the bits of the file that may be in the registry, it works better than using control panel, I like it.HP recomended it to me.

It installs into 64-bit versions of Windows. What it doesn't do is uninstall 64-bit applications. In fact, those programs don't even show up in Revo.
