There is no way to change your password as the PSN login is down. So scrap that advise for now.

I would recommend purcahsing PSN cards for all future transactions and look to get ur ccard changed in the interim.

My only question is who will be next? Nintendo, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, the gas companies, the electric companies, the phone companies, the cable and satelite companies, the companies we work for, governments?

I know this happens all the time but the fact is Sony was informed that they needed to update their security and they chose not to and now all the loyal gamers of playstation is suffering with not being able to play online and having to put fraud alerts on their cards. I know of at least a dozen people that have had fraudulent charges on their credit cards or bank cards. The best thing to to if your going to purchase anything from the playstation store is to go and buy a gift card and use that. I'm not trusting Sony anymore this could have been prevented they were warned of this and didn't take it to heart.

Lol, you're trying to tell us you're a security expert that has worked for Sony, and then you defend Sony. You've worked for them, you're opinion is biased.

That's if you really are who you say you are, which I doubt considering I'd presume a security expert who works for Sony would know there's an NDA that legally prevents you from talking about this kind of stuff.

Disregard this man's post, he is a liar, idiot, or both. You really think a security expert for Sony would type in all caps? You're a stupid Sony fanboy, making [censored] up about Nintendo.

Sony has screwed up beyond belief. I'm glad I own a PC and all three Consoles, however, this is just totally unacceptable on Sony's part.

You have terrible grammer!! Any pro with or without a degree knows that be for is actually spelled before, and till is not spelled tell. Use a comma, or a period to end a sentence. I don't doubt that you worked with Sony, but I KNOW that if you did, thats probably why all of these problems have occured. It takes smart people to run a smart company, and you sir, are stupid.
