Has anyone had experiance first hand with WIN ANTIVIRUS PRO 2006 from www.winantivirus.com. I had a customer with this software on her computer. She also had over 600 virus infected files. Now, granted, she still had a non updated copy of Norton on there, so the conflict of two AV's could have cause the poor performance. However, some google searching shows that google will block there site (www.winantivirus.com) as potentially dangerous, and I have found quite a few hits saying this software is actually spyware and harmful. Anyone else have some first hand knowledge? I am going to remove it and put AVG on there. I've used it for years and always been happy.Personally, its really disgusting that a company would purport to remove spyware and virus when it actually is bad for your comptuer. Thats pretty low. But, then again, not really suprising either.

{size:18px}[/size]:D Hi : WinAntianything is fairly well known in the antiSPYWARE "community" as an undesirable program and their Experts have "Removal" methods. AntiSPYWARE Expert Eric Howes has a very informative site at www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm . You MAY have difficulty COMPLETELY REMOVING it without the aid of one of the Malware Experts !? Would recommend you use the "Search" feature on one or more of such forums, such as www.landzdown.com, for SPECIFIC Recommendations .

Never ever heard of that program before. The website looks like it has been designed poorly... I would stay away from that program. My McAfee site advisor claims the site as not being safe. Look elsewhere.

I installed that program and ever since, my computer started acting funny and slow. I installed AVG and it found that program as a threat so I removed it. My computer is back to normal. Stay away from WINANTIVIRUS PRO 2006.
