Comcast is rolling out something it calls Constant Guard, apparently related to alerting you if you have a bot virus problem...I'm not familiar with all the details. Is Constant Guard worth downloading? Or should I leave it alone?

Hi Queen :

Comcast is an Internet Service Provider, NOT a
security company . Any security-oriented program
they "offer" is provided by someone else .
Bot "viruses" are best handled by a security
company, such as the Avast Antivirus program you
recently said you switched to . In addition, Avast
has an excellent, if not the best, online Support
Forums and they have an experienced, trained,
Volunteer, "Malware Removal Specialist" to help get
rid of any serious malware issue, such as Bots .
For the very Best in Life :

Stay away from comcast's constant guard. It screwed up my computer, and it took me 7hours to get it back in order. All it does is store passwords, and it uses a proprietary browser to load sites. A real waste of time.
