:unsure:Can anyone tell me what criteria PC World uses in rating products?Do they consider customer satisfaction when rating a product? If they do then I suggest that they rescind Dell's #1 rating for the W3207C LCD TV. Just check out Dell's Customer Forums under TV's and you'll see.I'm on my 3rd TV from Dell in 3 months and I'm not the only one having this problem.

I understand your frustration--really, I do. Over the past year and a half, I've gone through five Roombas, four of them shipped back to the company at my expense. But so many people love the things, I think my experience must be an aberration.Anyway, about how we evaluate and rate things: We do factor customer satisfaction into our ratings--at least, for the products that we have been able to gather an adequate number of responses in our annual (thereabouts) Reliability & Service survey ([url]http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,123409-page,1/article.html_). That includes desktop PCs, notebooks, digital cameras, printers, and a couple other smaller product categories. We received ratings from 35,000 readers last year, enough data that we can rate a fairly large number of desktop and notebook vendors, less so for the other categories. We don't have enough data on TVs yet to factor reliability and service into ratings yet--but it's a hot topic with readers, so it may gather enough responses in one of our upcoming surveys.

Please contact me if you should elect to conduct customer satisfaction surveys in the future with respect to reliability and repair as I would be more than willing to share my thoughts. As well, I could provide you with an ample supply of customer comments and experiences that I found AFTER MY PURCHASE!
