Hi! well me and my friends are making a movie for a school competition..So, what we want to do is to make an object fall on the title of the movie like in the beginning of a movie where they have some kind of animation in their title...so can anyone help me on how to go about this and software to use...

A good program for you to use in this case would be Adobe After Effects.
You can get that here: http://www.adobe.com...tereffects.html
It's kinda pricey, but if you know how to use it, can do wonders for your movie project.
It's not for average users though as it is very hard to use if you have never used it before.
