Is Microsoft moving its headquarters? I read that Microsoft has leased some space in Silicon Valley and other news sources say that Microsoft will move its HQ to there (however, the sources maybe unreliable).

I just want to know if this "rumor" is true...

Haven't heard anything about that. Can't think of any reason why they would be moving. They've already settled in Redmond, been there for a long time, and the building is more than large enough. Would cost a whole lot of money to move, and they wouldn't gain anything from it at all.

I don't know why in the blue blazes they would want to move to California and get taxed to death. From what my Cousin says, it's bad enough in Washington St. I think I heard they are building a facility somewhere outside of Washington St. and not in California, but forgot where. Seems that it was somewhere to the East ( not East Coast ).

Try buildingS (i.e. plural).

Their "HQ" is really a campus of about 40 or so buildings I believe.

I seriously doubt that Microsoft will be moving their HQ anytime soon.

I've been there and can say that it looks much like a college campus - lots of buildings and such.

Microsoft has facilities all over the planet.

Here's Bill Gates asking congress for INFINITE H1B Visas. Because whatever jobs he can't send overseas for cheap labor, he'd like to bring cheap labor here to do. You know, 'cuz Microsoft is hurting for money and Americans are expensive.
