Smartphones screens should max out at 4 inches.A 4.3 inch screen,no matter how well designed will be bulky and oversized and a drain on the battery.

I, among others, do not mind extra bulk (actually, prefer it) and Super AMOLED is a good answer to the power consumption, as it only provides power to active pixels (anything other than black). This makes black themes very appropriate to extend battery life.
