Just need some change on Ubuntu or Fedora distro - remove their skin and put another skin so to say. Thus distro name change, livery, font removal and installing 2 fonts for the time being, browser home page and font setting, live cd/usb with download, putting perhaps a browser keyboard, maintain upgrades? Could pay for this if reasonable and monthly maintenance fee. Contact me if interested.

Yegawds, and you'll put up the version control and the package download servers, and the synchronization from repositories, and the testing, and all the other stuff?

Because it's not as easy as you appear to think it is.

Maybe one of these sites would serve you better...

They'll allow you to offer a 'bounty' for what you want, and someone in India or will bite for next to nothing.

If you just want an ISO edited with your preferred branding, but is 'Ubuntu' (you'd probably want 'Mint', though) in every significant way, that's a lot easier. It could announce 'KrishnaBirth' on the setup, install 'KrishnaBirth' wallpaper, default to your favorite 'KrishnaBirth' theme, 'KrishnaBirth' applications, etc.

I'm not the one to do it. But as I said, some random freelancer would probably do it for chump change.

This doesn't sound like you want to build a Linux distro, but more create a customized version of an existing distro. This is easy enough for you to do yourself. There's some handy-dandy instructions you can use right here. Creates a Live CD, and your customizations can be be installed on any computer you use the disk on. Plus, if nothing else, it's a quick and easy way to bring your favorite environment with you to use on any computer you have access to.
