Organize my large hard drive?

I want to start my hard drive the best way possible. Should I create folders for each category like Business, Games, Photography, Utilities etc?Thanks Albert :lol:

The best way to organize a hard drive is to create partitions but in your case, I assume this is a new computer. Well, Windows itself is pretty good with folder management such as "My Documents", "My pictures" but it would be wise to create custom folders just the way you describe in order to satisfy your needs.

SupportguyNY brought up a good idea. If you have a large hard drive, probably the easiest way to organize it would be to make multiple partitions.. Make one partition for your OS and have so much space on the partition for the OS and your user files, then make another partition that you can use to set for backup in case the OS suddenly dies and you can't access your files.We'll see what others have to say. i personally run a 6 gig partition 50 gigs formy gamesand like the rest ofmy 250 for my programs movies and random donwloadsworks really well this way im able to multi task really well, even on my single core machine
