I refuse to have the new "Timeline" forced upon me by Facebook. We say , "Say no to bullies", yet FB users constantly bow to the the Facebook gods and their changes. I will not. If Google+ starts the same crap, I will leave it too.

I made the switch today. Downloaded my videos and photos of Facebook and uploaded them to Google+. I never knew about Google until the other day and already i am already addicted.

Facebook refuses to remove pages that encourage sexual violence against women and even make fun of rape. I deactivated my account, and I'm hoping to promote google+ to my family and friends.

Facebook actually does notify you when you're tagged in a picture. I don't think it's wise to claim google is so gung-ho about protecting people's privacy after it's admitted to selling information in private emails to advertisers.

G+ is great, but it's sorely lacking the API functions of FB and Twitter.

I agree alot with this post and the comments on here. Google+ has a lot going for it. But since Facebook has Microsoft backing it we are not likely to see it fall anytime soon. But at lease they have competition now and google finally got the social network that orkut never was.
