Hi everyone. It may not be possible but is anyone able to tidy up this image to make out any of the letters/numbers of this vehicle registration. Sadly I have failed.

Hi and wqelcome to the forums. Sorry, afraid not. I blew it up, but the camera didn't pick up enough details on the plate. Did notice that all the other vehicles seemed to be pointed in the opposite direction, meaning the driver of that car was going the wrong way.

Unfortunately, this image wasn't sharp to begin with, so I can't tell. Sorry.

I have managed to massively increase the resolution and zoom in on the plate. Believe it is **07 *RP. Thats about all i can get. The quality is poor to begin with, its a still from a cctv camera

Your question is directly related to a question I wanted to ask Dave Johnson, or anyone who thinks they have an answer! In 1998, a friend of mine asked me to help him enlarge a Polaroid snapshot (31/2"X31/2")of him and his wife using his old Win 95, a cheap scanner, and Adobe Photo Shop 2. Photo Shop 2 actually digitally enlarged the Polaroid photo (cropped!) to an 8X10 picture that was just as clear as the original! There was no distortion as you get with current enlargements because todays enlargements are done by magnifying the picture instead of digitally reproducing the image! So, can anyone tell me why we no longer can have digitally enlarged images in any Photo Shop software? If digital enlarging was available in Adobe Photo Shop 2 in 1998, why isn't it available now in more advanced Photo Shops? I have purchased far too many programs in an attempt to find just one that would digitally enlarge instead of magnify, and had to return ALL of them!
