I have recently taken some pictures of a special event. I would like to create an online photot album, or gallery, that I can upload to my personal website for visitors to view. What is the best software I can use to accomplish this? What are your recommendations?
Thanks,

I upload things to Windows Live Skydrive in a public folder, then you can post a link so people can view the pics.

Hi tracelyn, and welcome to the forums.
I'd recommend you to use photobucket.com that me and some other members here uses. Just create an account, upload your photos, paste the given link for each image on your website, and you're done!
Good Luck!

It all kind of depends on what you want to do and what you use for a personal website.
Do you want the photos to appear on your website? Or are links on your website that take you to another website where the photos are stored and displayed OK?
For your website, do you do editing of the HMTL yourself? Or is this some "pre-coded" type site (such as wordpress.com) like some blog service?
A site like Photobucket does have HTML code that you can paste that will then actually display the photo(s) on your site rather than just a link, I believe, but you will need some ability to use HTML code, which might not be possible for some "pre-coded" blog type services. Now, some "pre-coded" blog service also have the ability to upload photos directly to them.
The point is that it is really dependent on what you want to do specifically and what you are currently working with.

Thank you for the response. I am using Microsoft Expressions Web and would like to create a "flash-style" photo album that can view from my website. The program that I am looking for a suggestion with is one that has the ability to create a photo album. Copying HTML code will not be a problem.
Thanks again.
