I picked up The Grip Toolbar. When I run my antispyware programs, only NO ADWARE picks it up and rates it as dangerous. I delete it after the scan. But when I boot up the system it is there again. What program did it come with? Can I perm get rid of this software browser helper spyware?

{size:18px}[/size]:D Hi Howard ; You sure seem to use products with "shady" pasts; a while back it was "Spyware Terminator", now "NoAdware" . Do you actually have a "Grip" Toolbar on your screen !? As to HOW you got it, possibly, on your machine, would be using a P2P program or downloading a new program which included it during the installation "process" . Since last I heard you have Spybot, I recommend you post a HijackThis log in their Support Forums at http://forums.spybot.info and request one of their Malware Experts provide guidance. If you have not already done so, download HijackThis from: www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/HJTsetup.exe . At the download prompt, choose "Save". Navigate to the saved file and double-click the installer, HJTsetup.exe.HijackThis will be installed on your computer at C:Program FilesHijackThis, making an entry in the start menu and also providing a desktop shortcut. When the installation is complete, exit HijackThis.
