If you can afford to possibly lose all of a days, weeks, months data, by all means fly with the Cloud. You backed up your data because of the fear of losing your data. What in the Name of God's green earth makes you believe the Clouds storage method cannot fail, the same as yours? If you have sufficiently covered your backside, the Clound sounds pretty good.
