If you like doing panoramic pictures and don't like spending a lot of money on expensive software or putting in hours of work matching exposures on pictures and pasting together, there's a program called Hugin - Panorama Stitcher that does an amazing job. Here's a few (small) examples to look at that I just finished putting together from a weekend of exploring mountains:

Warning: eventhough the pics are cut down, they're still fairly large (2-5 MB).

Panorama 1, made from 11 pictures. Original size is 88 MB, 11349x2643

Panorama 2, made from 7 pictures. Original size 71 MB, 8400x2679

Panorama 3, made from 12 pictures. Original size 116 MB, 17692x2470

Actually, could I get higher resolution versions? Those look pretty cool!

Lemme look around for a good large-file hosting site. Any suggestions?

Alright, try this link to my hotmail's skydrive deal. Download button on the right side just under the thumbnail.

That works, thanks!

Man, thanks to comcast's turboboost, I got about 3MB/sec and those barely took any time to download!
