This author is one of the only few in PCW whose articles are quite useful whereas most of them these days are tripe based on rumours and speculation recycled and published again and again.

I got excited when the article stated "Upload any file in practically any format, and it'll let you convert it into something you can use". I went to the Go2Convert site to try to convert a *.DOC to a *.WPD. The drop down box only listed graphics media formats. So, I tried to convert the Word doc to a JPEG ... didn't work. Got an error message that stated "Oops! Unable to convert ...".

Then I saw the list of file types at the top of the site page. Looks like it will try to convert specific media file types to other media types. Pretty limited and not helpful for my needs.

Even I tried to convert a word file into PDF through this online converter and I even got a PDF file but its size was zero kb and there was nothing in the file, and when I tried to open it all I got was an error. So in short this thing is not working for me. I better use my own Classicpdf, adobe or nitro...
