I've borrower bookes from my library via a gen 1 Literati that I received as a gift.
Except for the limited titles (relative to the hard copy totals) it's a great service and the only thing that makes e-readers worth owning.
Now if publishers would just get the prices for older books (say 4 years or more) down to reasonable levels ($no more than $5) I would also be buying more e-books.
