Facebook's New Timeline Layout: A Getting-started Guide

There is a privacy flaw with the new timeline.
Why can I not delete the cover photo album, even if I have no photos inside. I deleted all the photos as I realised there is a privacy issue with people not on my friends list being able to see those that had liked the cover photo album.
-friends can 'like' the cover photo album, and then others who are not on my list, the 'public' can see that like, I removed all of the cover photos but cannot remove the cover photo album, therefore the public can see somebody on my friend's list.
Also
I have set my friends list to private- 'only me' but facebook keeps on suggesting my friends to other friends telling them they are my friends, this compromises my privacy.

i hate the timeline, it was just put up without my consent, would like to go back to the old way, anyone know how to get rid of the timeline

We should be able to make our timeline cover photo PRIVATE. This is an issue
