Cable and satellite companies are losing customers left and right because we pay too much. If they go down this road it will just get worse for them, which is fine with me. I'm happy with OTA and netflix and zune etc. Soon all the television companies will offer their own stuff over the internet like sports do and we won't need cable companies anymore to over charge us and we can just buy what we want. The NFL are the biggest losers around because they don't have an internet package and only sell their service through directv, which charges way to much for the nfl package. When directv first started out they sold the nfl package for $129, what's it now that they have 10 times as many customers? I would gladly pay nfl.com for access to a team or two that I wanted to watch every week, I have no use in getting every nfl game. NBA.com charges like $50 for the season on a mobile device that I can hook up to my tv, as this happens more and more where will the need for cable be? Cheers.
