MLB playoffs start tonight.
Are you following it and which team?
Did your team make it to post season?
I am a Phillies fan and go to many games.
Our first game is tomorrow at 5PM.
I am PUMPED!!
The phillies last home game was September 22 against the Washington Nations
The Phils lost 6-1 but I was excited.
During the Nationals BP, Ivan Rodrigues tossed a ball right to me.
Man that was so cool.
There were no kids to eigther side of me so I didn't steal a little kids ball.
Any stores to tell while talking baseball?

Tommy Greene.
Sorry about your Braves.
They are a great team, unfortunitly they fell a game short.
I remember the Maddox, Smoltz era, very dominate.
As for Chipper Jones, great player, great guy.
Hall of famer.

Of course, if they win the World Series and the Lions continue to win, then that is a sure sign of the end of the world. So, it kind of puts me in a bind as to whether to cheer for them...I am not sure I want the world to end.
BTW, is it bad that I find the rain delay to be more entertaining than the actual game? Thankfully, there is college football tomorrow!

Hi smax.
Yeah, I tuned in when the delay started.
Did watch some Jeter interviews and highlights.
What an awesome SS.
Sorry I am not familiar with the Tigers.

It had better not preempt the Treehouse of Horror! Kang and Kodos had something important to say this year.

Justin Verlander is a local boy and has one heck of an arm.

Yep, Tommy Greene. Nice guy and big. Yeah, that was an era alright when Maddox and Smotlz were playing in their prime. Unfortunately with all the wins they only got one World series pennant. Lots of Division and League championship pennants, but could never close the deal in the big game. At that tme we had the Triple A franchise club ( the Richmond Braves ) and where Chipper Jones, and Javi Lopez came from ( as did Smolz as I recall ). Sid Bream at First base and Lenke at second forgot who the shortstop was, but he was good. Those were some good years.

Hey lil, Good to see you again. I agree with you about the Yankees. I used to be a Yankees fan, but that was in the days of Mantle, Maris, Ford, & Berra plus the rest ( Casey Stengle was the Manager ). Heck we had the Triple A franchise for them at that time. They left and then we got the Triple A Franchise for the Braves. Now they are gone and we have the AA Franchise for the Giants.

I do the same thing.
If the phils don't make it to the play-offs or don't reach the WS, I adopt a team to pull for.
When Jim Isienreich and Darren Dulton were tradded to the Marlins and made the play-offs and the phils didn't, I pulled for Florida for the sake of the former Phils.

The second being the Phillies terrible playoff performance.
Now I need to adopt a team to pull for.

Been away for a few days.
Too late to guess the final two.
Tough call who I want to win.
Texas has never done it so it would be good for them.
Being more familiar with the cards makes me feel the them.
????
My main hope is that it goes 7 games and will be worth watching.
