There should be a blue "Download Now" button beneath the system requirements on any freeware or trialware file in the PCWorld.com Downloads library. If you don't see it, please post the URL and tell us what browser you're using.

If there is no downloading link then they're not offering software for free. May be they want you to register for their site or to pay to download software.

It's true that some downloads require registration at the vendor's site, but there's still a download button. In those cases, the button takes you to the vendor's site. PCWorld puts a note explaining this at the bottom of the review.

What 'download library'? I can't find one in the top menu; when I search, I get a list of news articles, not downloadable software.

If there is a download library some place, why is it so well hidden?

And, for those of us who have failed to find it, how do we get to it?

I see now. 'Downloads' is a tab available only on the Forums web site.

Just click on it to get the message that the page for which you are looking cannot be found.

Brilliant.

Anyone at PC World awake, to, perhaps, shed some light on this attractive feature?
