some gr8 choices! esp ufo - i think its one of the most absorbing games ever made, i still haven't totally mastered it. some AWESOME others include: seawolf, syndicate, dune - tx for the gr8 list :) quake1 should be @ the top bro, serious. wolfenstein sucked compared 2 quake :)

Descent, Descent II, Wing Commander. And something else not mentioned at all but that was super popular for a long time and that's ZORK I, II and III by Infocom.

Wolfenstien was the first. Not Doom. And Doom's multiplayer required you have a modem. Which at the time was highly advanced tech for many people.
