I had partition 1: 108gb and 2: 4 gb. 1 had xp home in it, and 2 had fedora in it. I inserted ubuntu. went to installation. in the installation, i set partion 2 as root "/" and told to format it, and partition 1 as swap "swap" and told not to reformat. then after some steps, i coudln't find the installation screen or anything in ubuntu. so i restarted pc [ within administraiont properly.] when i restarted my pc, [i had fedora as my boot loader] i couldn't get in. since i was more familiar with installation of fedora, i thought i could install it again, and get windwos back through the fedora boot loader. but during the intallation, i usually get saying whether to set the windows boot loader or fedora boot loader. now i didn't get that. so i am wondering, my windows xp gone? pls help. thanksi loaded ubuntu again, [no install] and opened partion editor. it shows my 108gb hd with 18 gb free like it was untouched. how do i dual boot? thanksnow i switched back to fedora. is there any way to read windows parition from fedora?
