Use Multiple Webcams? How to set up a multi angle documentation system?

Hi. I am lokking for help :-)

I am trying to set a documentation system at home, using 5 webcams. I need the system to be able too:

1. Take 5 pictures simultaneusly at one given moment.
2. Take 1 picture from a selected camera at one given moment
3. Capture video-stream from selected cameras

I have currently purchased 5 Creative "Live! Cam Socialize HD 1080", and I planning on buying a mac mini. Do you have some advice to give me, setting up this system? Is it possible? What do I need to get for it to work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
