I have a MS bluetrack mouse. Every once in awhile it just stops working. The blue laser light is on and bright, and I had just charged it. So I try another rechargeable battery that's been sitting around for awhile and it works again - even though that battery shows a low charge. I dunno what to make of this.

It is probably mater of having to reset it. Sometimes I have to do that with my wireless mouse as the drivers don't seem to boot with everything else. Other times it will work, but not scroll, so have to reset it. They can be funny at times.

Try using the 'connect' or 'reset' buttons on it and the receiver (not sure what the MS mice have, my Logitech has a 'Connect' button on the receiver and 'Reset' one on the rodent).
