I followed the recommended things you should do for a new device. Run the battery down and then charge it back up to full.
I check sites that showed changing the settings in the Location Services might help. I left these at original settings.
If these users have several email accounts they are using like I do, they likely need to set them to only pull mail when the email client is opened.
It would be great if you can set the time for each email independently for how often it retrieve mail, and not just push/fetch/manually.
I noticed with Siri that even when you aren't using it, its location service is always running. Maybe she is way to busy for the battery to handle her. Maybe she should sleep sometimes.

There is no way it could be crappy Apple code that is killing the battery.

My location services aren't constantly on with for siri on any of my 4S's, just a thought for ya
