Reflash Lg Vortex?

So, today I got one of the most dreaded viruses of all, the Android virus. Its been sending porn and everything.
Also, my LG Vortex's microphone and speaker died last night.

So I'm wondering. How can I reflash it to none of Verizons bloatware just plain Android 2.2?

I'm most likely getting a new phone so that is not anything to worry about.

I don't know if you can, because of the drivers and such that are in the OS most likely.
