Microsoft is the expert when it comes to 'unfair competitive advantage'. Go Linux!

why is africa always forgotten

millions here use pirated versions of photoshop (1,500$ and no one can afford it) nearly everyone uses pirated antiviruses, MS office and windows

i expected it to reach 40 billions

good thing i mostly use free sortware (except the windows XP that came with this computer)

This show that not even free Linux is wanted in these countries. As their economy is starting to grow they had the opportunity to start with free Linux and free office suite, but they still go for Microsoft. Go figure.

Nope.

The world's full of ignorant fools who don't know ANYTHING about free, open source software.

A company like Microsoft, with a nearly unlimited sales and marketing budget, can make its products universally known.

Companies around the world would save untold billions by using LEGITIMATE open source software, rather than pay companies like Microsoft and Adobe for the privilege of being raped, or pirate that shaft-ware and open themselves up to potentially VERY expensive legal consequences.
