Yep, I did a quick google search and Sager machines are in fact made by Clevo.

I know that. I did not say that they were made by different companies I said that they were different. By this post, it seems you have never own a Sager or Clevo. Sager gives a better warrenty than Clevo or other dist of Clevo. Plus I had customers came in for repair and they thought warrent was expired. I told them that it should still be there and can get it fix for free instead of paying for it. They did come back and thank me for that. Now that the warrenty has gone they still come to me for any minor fixes or updrages since I help them out in the past.

Well, it is possible that, for instance, a Corsair branded PSU might have a 3yr warranty while a seasonic might have 5 years, even if both are made by seasonic. Sometimes the design is different between the two, other times it's merely a branding thing.

In this case it is purely branding. Several of the major Botique vendors use the same Clevo notebooks. Which is quite humorous when you start seeing reviews pop up. "Another Clevo model xxx based machine in our labs..." The differences amounting to what video card that vendor felt like slapping in there, what CPU, ram, and hard drives they decided were worth sticking in there. Then of course, the price tag the slap on it. Origin, Sager, AVADirect, iBuyPower, CyberPower, and countless others use Clevo notebooks for thier machines. In the end, Clevo is much like the Funai of the Laptop world. They make everybody else machine, and never actually have thier own name slapped on it.
