Scanned and tested. No viruses or other issues. Works on all videos I have tried it on. A little slow, but very reliable.
I recommend it.

I installed this & it is THE WORST PROGRAM EVER!! It took over my computer, changed my search engines in both Explorer & Chrome & installed other stuff even tho I unchecked the boxes. I Googled & discovered it's call vicious malware in numerous articles. You can't truly uninstall it unless you go to the Registry which I didn't as I don't know how. You will get Clara and Soft & other stuff no matter what boxes you uncheck. I can't believe you recommended this vicious software without a major warning. I will never use PC World again but return to CNET who has never been wrong.

It DOES install a toolbar. PC World did not do their homework on this one! Shame on a trusted magazine!

Honey, CNET is often wrong. It's a mix of people, like the internet, not a god. Frankly, you can download RealPlayer for free and then in the options disable it for the stuff you don't like; watch the screen carefully in case McAfee or Google Chrome want to 'attach' with the download, which you don't want. Chrome basically wrecked itself on one of my machines, and RealPlayer along with Chrome, so now I can't use either one, on that machine (won't reinstall properly, and there's nothing in the registry I can find to fix the problem).
There are a lot of free downloaders available, just Google. Check the reviews before using.
Wildly Insane Now Dumb Or Willfully Stupid. :)

This good but a bit outdated (2011). There's now a way to do it simply without any software, toolbars, or anything else at all -
