The change that has taken place in the "world" of human passion over the last 20 years is astounding. To succeed one MUST push the envelope, and become more and more outrageous in a specious sense.
I worry for the innocents who are being pushed into deviant sexual activity at an ever decreasing age due to the peer pressure resulting from the universal acceptance of pornography in society. The secular spirit (which does not recognize the divinity as a source of morality) scoffs and ridicules those who oppose this evolution in morality, they see it as “healthy”, and even rejoice at the resulting erosion of traditional morality. This rejoicing can easily be seen on secular blogs that deal with this subject.
As a result, Parenting today is becoming moot. Society’s encroaching secular spirit slowly sapps the parent of all meaningful moral influence, and the formation of a moral world view in children is drifting into the hands of secular “psychologists â€�" the pioneering social engineers” who, despite all their protestations to the opposite, are using the very same “brainwashing” techniques they so ardently accuse the religious of using, in their efforts to take over the minds and souls of today’s children. I see this domain episode as nothing more than another chapter in their “big plan” to change society into “their image and likeness”. It now becomes so much easier to control the sexual development of the child thru controlled exposure to pornography, as a function of age. Peer pressure will do the rest
I am a traditional Russian Orthodox Christian, and I will continue to “brainwash” my children to adopt an Orthodox world view, I will do this till my last dying breath (1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.). But to those who live in the secular west, and rejoice at the erosion of those remnants that remain of traditional Orthodox Christian Morality I say “You made your bed, go sleep in it” â€�" time reveal the fruits of your morally egregious secularization and brainwashing of your children, indeed the fruits are even now being seen. Look at your children, are you so blind that you cannot see what they are becoming.

When a woman is placed as the central figure in a male mythology that makes her the cause of the Fall of Man, it wasn't a good thing. All world religions oppress, dominate and brutalize women to a greater or lesser degree, even now....all you need to remember is burning witches (then), genital mutilation (then and now), the acid-blinding of Afghani girls and the kerosene-suicides of beaten Islamic brides and you have all the necessary evidence of the root causes of violence against women---and violence in general, actually.

Can you have it your heart to care about kidnapped young women forced into the global sex-trade against their will, with help of government officials around the world, more money than changes hands during the SuperBowl and NO WAY OUT? It's this kind of ill-informed attitude that keeps the sex-trafficking going, and online access to porn feeds the desire for online prostitutes which feeds the need for young women who frequently end up dead or worse sometimes, live long lives with unending and unendurable memories of what men are capable of doing to a young woman's flesh and psyche.

IMO, Hillary Clinton best voiced the POV you refer to: "It takes a village."

In other words, the responsibility for raising a child should be removed from the parents and shifted onto society.

My families children and grandchildren are raised to be caring good people who like to help others, no brainwashing needed
