Oops, there they are again. Those pointless cut corners that Moto has incorporated into most of it's designs.

What's next, a thoroughly oval design language?

Thank you Steve Jobs, Apple lawyers, and skittish Moto management.

I love my Android tablet, but these will never sell until they are priced correctly.

That's what I thought too. The wave is just building, between 2012 and Win8 Tablet release there will be a flood of good products with a price cap of $300, and the slightly off brand Coby, Velocity etc. coming up from the bottom to a better quality. Most will be less than $200.

Let's face it, Apple may or may not always have a dominant position in tablets, but there are a lot of people that don't care about Apple one way or the other and price is an issue. It should be noted though, that Apple was smart with the iPad and not repeat the blunder of the original iPhone pricing.

".. but these will never sell until they are priced correctly."
What is the "correct" price?
I am aware that many seem to think if it's not an Apple it should be ridiculously inexpensive.
Strange logic ......
To disagree without being disagreeable is the art of debate. Simply because one has a strong opinion, it does not necessarily make an alternative opinion less valid.

No, but Apple's products are overpriced. If they can't match Apple's prices for a similar product at the minimum, then it is not going to sell very well.

Most of the tablets (the ones worth talking about)are priced above 500 if they have a 10 inch screen and are priced below 300 if they have a 7 inch screen.

300...though an attractive price offers a screen which is considered too small by many while the 10 inch tabs though attractive in size are expensive.

The 8.2 inch tab seems to solve this problem to some extent.

The 8.2 choice of size seems smart because it seems to help moto keep the price below 500.

Let's see, I could get a nice Asus Transformer Prime with 32Gb of memory and a quad core processor for $499 or get this POC for $630 and still have to sign a 2 year contract.

Anyone know why companies like Asus don't have 3g capability on their tablets, because the carriers only want to sell a device that only works on their service. The transformer is available with 3g in other countries and you can purchase it just like the one without 3g.
If you think I'm going to pay full retail for a product that I can only use with your service and have to sign a 2 year contract then we both need to have our heads examined. Cheers.

Has there been any word on a Wifi-Only Version of either tablet? How ever much I like Verizon, I won't be using it in any places without Wifi, and I hope those models would be somewhat cheaper. Any News? - Thanks.
