HP used to have a Universal Printer Driver for PCL5 and PCL6. It would install a Laserjet as far back as the antique LaserJet II. I have used them since Vista came out but they seem to now push you to use the build in Windows drivers.

The 64bit versions I have downloaded are from June 2010 (separate UPD's for PCL5 and PCL6) and have a PCL6 drive from 2009 in the same folder. I don't have any 32bit versions for Win7, those are in the Vista folder where I have the PCL6 UPD tagged vista2K2008XP2003 so it apparently runs in all those Windows versions.

Can't find them on the HP site now.

That's exactly what I did: when the new memory arrived I installed Win7 x64 from scratch and RMA'd the faulty RAM (it's in process now). I don't use online storage, I have everything backed up to my storage drive.
