I need it to be able to fit a case like this , this , or at a minimum, this
This seems to be a nice unit and I would hate to get it only to find out the cables are way too short.

Hi, When the PSU being mounted in the bottom of a Full size case not real sure. In a Mid Tower it can can get a bit tricky. I am using a Cooler Master 912 HAF and I had enough, barely to run it the 8 pin CPU Coonector behind the MOBO . Mostly it would depend on how the MOBO is installed in relation to the PSU. If it is just above the PSU as it is in my mid tower, then you should be fine. As far as the power suplly itself goes, not a good choice and not something you want cheap out on. This would be a better choice: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817371029 .
The connection is at the upper left.

Thanks, looks like I'm going to want to stick with the Mid Tower then.
(Nice cable management by the way)

This review is not your model.
Diablotek hasn't offer them one for their strict independent testing so the guys at www.jonnyguru.com got one themselves.
Though not your model, it reflects serious poor quality by the manufacturer.
This review was done in an annoying rhyme but if you read through it you'll see many faults with the unit.
Not to mention the failures under hotter loads.

I went and checked the full sized cases and the motherboard mounts just aove the PSU as it does in mine, so it shouldn't be a problem from what I saw. Thanks. The Modular PSU helps.

Wow, and I thought that what I chose would've been a good model, It seems then I got pretty lucky with the one I have (only time I had an issue was when the fan died, put in a new one and kept it running for about 5 years

(It's a bit expensive, but I'm willing to pay for a 600watt power supply that won't fail me for about 5-8 years and can push enough power to run the nVidia GeForce GTX 550 TI)

That is a much better choice.
It's modular, for some thats worth paying more.
It's 90% effecient.
Better trusted brand.
There's a $20 rebate at www.newegg.com making it $130.
Thats about what I paid for my seasonic.

I would NOT trust a PSU like diablotek, raidmax, cooler master, etc. Get an antec, corsair, seasonic, PC Power & Cooling, or Silverstone one. For $60, you could get a seasonic S12II 520W - I have that specific model, and it's quiet and I have no complaints about it. Also, it's one of the shorter ones (in terms of how far the PSU buts into the case). The cables are fairly long, so I stash them in spare ODD bay (my PSU is top-mounted). Oddly enough, I am also running a 550ti in here. (you only need something like an Antec Earthwatts 380W at minimum for that) You could run up to a geforce 570 on that. Seasonic PSUs are known to be VERY reliable. That corsair you mentioned is also a good choice, though you don't need to spend that much!
@Rommel - uhh, that's a corsair, not a seasonic.
Need a Windows ISO image?

Absolutely. I have the 850w model which is a bit of overkill.

With, I think, 52a on the +12v rail, I believe he could run a 580 without issues.

Alright, looks like I'm going with that then.
It also looks as if the cables might be long enough for a Full Tower.
Thanks to all for preventing me from making a bad choice

With the towers that you linked to, I don't really see a problem.

I'm running quite a powerhouse here (a mixture of gaming and finding mersenne primes) and It will be running for a minimum of 5 years before it'll get retired, so I want to compensate for how much the capacitors will affect my requirements ahead of time.
